If you actually look at the immigration levels plan over the next couple of years the balance is shifting back and by year three…. a record number of federal skilled workers, including through the Canadian Experience Class, will be welcomed to Canada.”

3. Canada is targeting to admit 55,900 immigrants through Express Entry alone.
4. To reduce the processing time and speed up the process, a budget of $85 million has been decided.
5. A new Municipal Nominee Program is on the list for the near future that will be focused on small and medium-sized communities in Canada.
6. On Jan13, Alberta has launched a new immigration program for tech workers- Accelerated Tech Pathway that falls under the Alberta Express Entry Program of the Alberta Immigrated Nominee Program.
7. Two new streams are also announced for entrepreneurs and skilled workers- Rural Renewal Stream and Rural Entrepreneur Stream.
8. Alberta has changed its name from Alberta Immigration Nominee Program to Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.
